Flamenco, Art and Music
This presentation traces the contribution of the quintessentially Spanish cultural phenomenon to the history of figurative art, from Manet’s fascination with bullfighting and dance to the experiments of the avantgarde.
Following the fine art presentation, a flamenco guitarist and singer will join us. He will combine explanations about flamenco and perform pieces related to a selection of flamenco rhythms.
